Kate Tweedie Erslev. Full Circle: Fifteen Ways to Grow Lifelong UUs.
Many UU congregations have asked about their members, "Why do they leave?" Kate Erslev asks, "Why do they stay?" Here she explores the 15 common threads that lifelong UUs identified as critical in their commitment to their faith. Erslev surveyed and interviewed 82 men and women from ages 25 to 87 who were raised as UUs. A lifelong UU herself, Erslev has been a DRE for over 20 years.

A Living Faith: The Second Young Adult and Campus Ministry Video
A Living Faith is an outreach tool for congregations and young adult and campus ministry groups. It is intended as an introduction to our faith through the eyes of young adults. A second book from Mark Yaconelli, this one again looks at how to create alive youth ministry programs that focus on growing souls, rather than programs that introduce just more fun activities or more busyness into the lives of youth. It also looks at two churches that have integrated this new model of youth ministry.

Colin Bossen and Dawn Star Borchelt. The Bridging Program.
This two to four session program was designed for use with youth preceding a bridging ceremony. In these workshops, youth are asked to reflect on their UU identity and the rite of passage that is the bridging ceremony. This curriculum, often called “pre-bridging workshops,” has been used at General Assembly and is appropriate for a wide range of UU communities working with youth. The curriculum also has tips on creating a bridging ceremony. 2004. 64 pages.

Consultation on Ministry To and With Youth
A two-year process to revision, renew and support UU youth ministry. It solicited the input and commitment of a variety of stakeholders in Unitarian Universalist youth ministry, reaching over 5,000 people over the course of two years. Conversations within congregations, districts, and stakeholder organizations focused on what they can do to support youth ministry at their level, and what the Association can do to support youth ministry as a whole. Browse a variety of reports from the process, and the culminating vision of the Summit on Youth Ministry.
