Thank you for your interest in the Unitarian Universalist Leadership Team Institute.
Due to low enrollment for the 2009 program, UULTI has been postponed until the summer of 2010.
 
UULTI (Unitarian Universalist Leadership Team Institute) is a remarkable week-long residential learning experience that seeks to renew faith, embrace congregational growth and change, welcome and nurture all, and fulfill the promise of Unitarian Universalism in the wider world. Individuals will forge new partnerships and teams will be strengthened.  All participants will be inspired and empowered by the practical tools and powerful ideas gained at UULTI.
 
Who should attend?
All kinds of congregational leaders including board members, ministers, committee chairs, religious education professionals, treasurers, administrators, musicians, and other current or emerging leaders. In particular:
  • Individuals from smaller congregations who have the opportunity to form geographically-based learning teams.
  • Teams from larger congregations that include lay leaders, part-time or full-time ministers, and all other congregational staff.
  • NEW THIS YEAR!  High school aged youth are invited to join UULTI faor the first time.  A youth ministry track is offered but youth may register for any track of their choosing
Special care will be taken to meet the needs of ALL kinds of congregations.
From small to large, stable and transitioning, rural and urban, struggling and thriving . . . AND everyone in between! Did you send a team last year? Send the same or another team. Repeat tracks or select alternate ones. Build a critical mass of leaders who share the UULTI experience.
Each participant will select one of five learning tracks:
  • Governance:  Beyond Nuts and Bolts: Congregational Governance as Leadership in Ministry
  • Growth:  Embrace Change: Grow from the Inside Out & Spread the Word of our Faith
  • Faith in Our Congregations: What is “Liberal” About Unitarian Universalism?  Focusing on adult programming to help your congregation grow in a shared understanding of the power and promise of UUism
  • Social Transformation: Equip your congregation to carry out transformative, integrative social justice projects that strengthen and heal the human being, your congregation, and the world at large.
  • Youth Ministry:  Nurture Our UU Present and Future.  Prepare youth for leadership roles within their congregation and society at large; transform youth programs and congregations through the positive energy of collaborative, spiritually-grounded youth and adult relationships

UULTI is reasonably priced at $725 per person.  An EARLY BIRD discount of $30 brings the cost to $695 per person if you register by June 6, 2009.

Special price for Youth Participants:  $595

 
Your registration fee covers:
  • All learning activities at UULTI for seven days including: daily track learning, worship, covenant groups, home team coaching and action planning, vespers, history workshops, ARAOMC training, and evening social events. 
  • All meals and a shared double room and in Juniata College facilities.
  • Cost sharing by individuals and their congregation is encouraged
Your district may have Scholarships available to help offset the cost of attending UULTI.  We will provide links as information becomes available or contact your District Office directly for more information.
